Our Staff

Our Client Services Representatives

Some of our helpful reception staff: Kathryn, Nyssa, Ruth, and Deb.

Deb has worked as a receptionist at Far Hills Animal Clinic since 2005, and loves working with our clients and their pets. Prior to coming to Far Hills Clinic, Deb worked for over 5 years as a veterinary receptionist in veterinary clinics outside of Ohio. When not gardening, or shopping, Deb spends time with her husband Kyle, her daughter Joelle, and her grandson Brayden.
Deb has an Italian greyhound named Vinnie, a Boston terrier named Jade, a chug named Zorro, a terrier mix named Zelda, a chihuahua named Ziggy, and a cat named Sally Sue.

Wendy started working for Far Hills Animal Clinic in 2012. Prior to coming to FHAC, she worked at a local dog daycare center. She shares her home with her husband Jeff, her son Justin, and their dogs: Riley, Rikki, TJ, and Chipper.

Having grown up raising Guiding Eye dogs for the blind and helping her mother teach dog obedience classes, Nyssa’s love for animals began at a young age. She found her calling when she was hired at an animal hospital & emergency clinic in North Carolina, and since then she has fostered, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 60 pets!
After moving to Ohio in 2014, she was thrilled to join us at Far Hills Animal Clinic, and her love of the veterinary field is stronger than ever. She and her husband own a fat orange tabby named Fisher, and a hideous (but lovable) little dog named Troll.

Ruth has been at Far Hills Animal Clinic as a receptionist since 2014, but her love of animals began in her childhood. Her past pet, Lacy, received a pacemaker in 2006 and lived three more wonderful years. She now has four furry babies: her three Chihuahuas Samantha, Daisy, and Lola, and a Yorkie named Tucker. They all keep her very busy!

Our Technicians & Assistants

Our caring support staff: Tina, Melissa (holding Maxwell), Glenn, and Dianne.

Glenn is a Registered Veterinary Technician who moved to the area and began working at Far Hills Animal Clinic in 2012. He is a 2008 graduate of Stautzenberger College in Toledo, and has two cats (Ota and Ash) and a freshwater aquarium. He is married and has two children.

Tina is a 2012 graduate from Chattanooga State in Tennessee, where she received her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She began working with us that same year as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is married, and she and her husband have a crazy chocolate Labrador retriever named Carly.

Dianne joined our treatment team as a technician in 2014. She has a degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University.
Dianne has two kids (Maren & Leo), a couple of very needy horses, two vicious papillions (Penny & Georgie), a labradoodle named Greta, a one-eyed cat named Josie, and no free time.

Melissa has been working at the clinic since 2008. Before becoming an assistant in the treatment area, Melissa worked as the kennel manager. She also served as the primary servant to Albert during his tenure as King of Far Hills Animal Clinic.
She has two dogs and too many cats to count.

Our Kennel Staff

Nick, our Kennel Manager, with Emerald, one of our boarders

Nick switched from a career in computer programming to working with animals in 2011. He currently works mainly in the kennel and treatment areas, and helps at the front desk when he can.
He and his wife Jess have a Pembroke Welsh corgi named Ein, and three cats: Pirotess, Fafhrd, and Tengu the criminal mastermind.

Toni has worked with us in the kennel since 2014. She is a true animal lover, and is typically found carrying one of our smaller boarders around with her for extra cuddle time.
She has three dogs and a cat of her own to snuggle when she’s at home.

Our Clinic Pets

Albert, our dearly-beloved clinic cat, passed away in 2015.
